Anissa Lee

Anissa Lee is a Los Angeles native Tap Dancer, Performer, Instructor, and Fashion Designer. She was seen tap dancing in the Amazon Prime original series “ The Last Tycoon,” Coca-Cola’s “It’s Beautiful” Super Bowl commercial, and is currently a member of both Chloé Arnold’s Syncopated Ladies and Sarah Reich’s Tap Music Project.

Anissa trained under the late Arlene Kennedy and Paul Kennedy and was a member of the Jazz Tap Ensemble/Caravan Project and Steve Zee’s L.A. Iron Works. She has been seen performing at such venues as the Ford Amphitheater, UCLA JazzReggae Festival, Rose.Rabbit.Lie., Hotel Cafe, Dorothy Chandlier Pavillion for the 54th Annual LA County Holiday Celebration, The Choreographers Carnival, Blue Whale,  Debbie Allen’s production of Alex in Wonderland, Greek Theatre with Latin Pop Star Sensation Christian Castro, TAP HEAT at The Grove, Vancouver International Tap Dance Festival, DC Tap Festival, LA Tap Festival, and press release events for the 2006 Academy Award Winner Film of the Year, “Happy Feet.”

Anissa received the prestigious Gregory Hines Tap Scholarship Award in 2007 for her recognized effort and dedication to Tap dancing and soon after traveled by request to Amsterdam, Holland to work with Lucia Marthas Dans Academie instructor, Marike Hetjes, on a current running Happy Feet reproduction.   Now an Alumni of Alexander Hamilton High School Music Academy Magnet and OTIS College of Art and Design, Anissa hopes to continue to combine her love and passion for Tap dancing with Fashion to create the ultimate experience for the arts.
