Christopher M. Albrecht

Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Christopher attended UCLA’s Department of Dance and graduated with Honors in Choreography in 2010.  With a foundation in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and Hip Hop, Christopher has studied a little of everything including Contemporary, Modern/Post Modern, West African, Brazilian Samba, and Afro-Haitian. 

All of his training culminates in his true love for storytelling through Musical Theatre.  He is incredibly passionate about the importance of movement and dance within Musical Theatre sticking to the mantra “What can’t be said, can be sung.  And what can’t be sung can be danced.”  Choreographic credits include: Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party, Sweet Charity and XANADU with Act III Theatre Ensemble; Sondheim’s Company with Color and Light Theatre Ensemble; Bye Bye Birdie and Urinetown at Walnut Hill School for the Arts; Thank You Mr. Falker: A World Premier at the historic Morgan-Wixson Theatre in Santa Monica; and Is There Life After High School? with the UCLA MFA acting program; Once On This Island, Little Shop of Horrors and Dear Edwina at West Torrance High; You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown and Fiddler on the Roof at Mira Costa High.  christophermarioalbrecht.weebly.com
