Rachel Kay

Having taught in the Brightest Hour program for the past three years, Rachel feels incredibly fortunate to now be an “official” teacher at Fifth Row Center. This family of teachers she is somehow being included in amazes and inspires her daily, being that she is a Mira Costa sophomore taking many of their classes. She’s led the wonderful life of a dancer since age four and trains in tap, jazz, ballet, Broadway jazz, Irish, African, Bollywood, contemporary, lyrical, and of course, hip hop. Rachel also adores musical theatre and has loved being a part of Mira Costa’s shows since she was an eighth-grader, having been a featured dancer in Fiddler on the Roof, Woodstock in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, an Angel in Anything Goes, and an Indian in Peter Pan.
