Jed “JeDi NiCe” Forman
Jed “JeDi NiCe” Forman discovered Poppin’ in New York training with Jazzy J, and returned to Boston with his love, coming under the wing of O.G.s MegaTron and Shallow. After graduating from Tufts University, Jed moved back to NYC to study Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary while working and teaching at Broadway Dance Center, as well as continuing his love of street styles, learning Hip-Hop and House under the company direction of Buddha Stretch of Mop Top, Kwik Step and Rocafella in Full Circle, and training extensively with Brian Green. He joined the Legendary House of Ninja directed by Benny Ninja and has won numerous competitions in both Old Way Vogue and Poppin’. Moving to LA, Jed has been blessed to train under the auspices of Ana Lollipop Sanchez, teaching him Whacking and Locking. Represented by MSA, Jed appears on NBC and MTV, dancing with KRS-1 and Omarion, for Nintendo, Daffy’s, Bloomingdales, Gillette, Coke Zero, and consulting for Dance Spirit Magazine. As a teacher, Jed has taught at Broadway Dance Center, Debbie Reynolds, IDA in Hollywood and internationally in Quebec, Sweden, and Japan. Jed resides in LA, remaining deeply dedicated to preserving the myriad traditions of street dance.
